Prenatal yoga/ childbirth education workshops

The word Yoga means to yoke, join or unite the mind and body by means of practicing physical postures, breathing techniques and meditation. Pregnancy is a time of deep transformation and yoga can bring much needed balance to both mind and body. Women who practice yoga during their pregnancy experience more ease, calm and comfort. My classes incorporate breath work with postures to build strength and endurance for birth as well as deep relaxation. These practices better prepare the body for physical and emotional changes in pregnancy, birth and postpartum recovery. Come be in community to dive deep into your body and spirit through this journey of motherhood. If you have never done yoga before, pregnancy is the perfect time to start!
